You set the terms of any gambling you do, and a few habits make those terms easier to keep. This page explains those habits, what this site can and cannot do for you, and where independent help is linked.
Practical Habits
Decide the amount before you start, not during play. A limit chosen while calm is far easier to keep than one chosen mid-session, when wins and losses pull your judgement around. Once you have set the amount, treat it as already spent. If you expect it back, every loss feels like a debt to recover.
Never chase a loss. Raising stakes to win money back usually deepens the hole, because the odds do not change in your favour just because you are behind. Keep gambling away from borrowed money for the same reason: credit turns entertainment into repayments that outlast the session. Take regular breaks. Stepping away interrupts momentum and gives you a moment to check whether you are still enjoying yourself. If gambling stops feeling like entertainment, tell someone you trust early. Another person can see patterns you might miss.
Site Limits
This site has no account, no form and no server-side application. Nothing published here can switch on, check or enforce a spending or time control. If you want caps, reminders or a break from play, you arrange them yourself inside your account at the destination. No age is verified here and no gambling happens here. Any such check takes place at the destination. The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this site, including on the front page. No advertising or behavioural profiling network runs in these pages, so nothing here is targeted at you based on your behaviour.
Independent Help
Every page of this site, this one included, carries links to six independent gambling-help organisations:
- BeGambleAware
- Gamble Aware
- Gambling Therapy
- G GamCare Gambling Support: Starts Here
- GAM STOP
- NCPG
These are the only non-commercial outbound links on the site. They carry no sponsored marking, are set to nofollow, and open in a separate tab on each organisation's own website. This site receives nothing when you follow them.
